"Heart2Serve was a blessing for my daughter’s first year experience with club volleyball. After trying out for a popular club team, we were extremely discouraged about trying out for any other club teams, assuming the same chaos.

Fortunately, the experience led us in the right direction. During that tryout I visited with another parent, in which she told us about Heart2Serve. Curiously, I reached out to Coach Carmen for more information, and I was very impressed with her intentions, goals for her players, and her passion for wanting to help instill skills that one may not learn from school ball. Immediately, I knew we wanted to try out for her team, and fortunately my daughter was selected. While watching tryouts, I noticed how ‘hands on’ and involved she was, and even the level of instruction exceeded my expectations.

During the season, Coach Carmen continued to challenge the girls, providing an abundant amount of practice time, all while instilling discipline and team work. At the end of the season, my daughter’s skills advanced tremendously, and we are proud to say she accomplished her goal of making her school team!

"My daughter Emma played on Heart to Serve during the 2018-2019 club season and loved it. She had a great time learning from Coach Carmen. As a parent it is great to see a coach that invests in the team on and off the court. Coach Carmen had team meetings at each practice so that the girls could discuss any issues (good or bad) that needed to be addressed. This allowed the girls to work their problems out immediately and keep a positive attitude on the court. She also keep scripture and prayer key ingredients to the girls lessons. Coach Carmen communicated with the girls frequently about how they did great and how they could do better. She was engaged and truly cared about the girls. Coach Carmen also taught the girls how to play ALL the positions so that they could have the best opportunity to excel as a player."
